This Privacy Policy explains how Jaivakam Agro ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Jaivakam website, place an order, or submit an enquiry.

Jaivakam Agro is a partnership firm based in Kerala, India. We handle online sales and marketing for Jaivakam products sourced from Jaivakam Farm and partner growers.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate our storefront, fulfil orders, respond to enquiries, and improve our services.

When you submit an enquiry (farm visits, experiences, or general messages):

Information collected automatically

On your device (browser storage):

  • Shopping cart — product IDs and quantities are stored in your browser's local storage so your cart persists between visits. This data stays on your device until you checkout or clear your browser storage.
  • Referral attribution — if you arrive via a marketing link with a tracker ID, we may store that ID in your browser's local storage to apply eligible promotional discounts at checkout.

On our servers:

  • Basic server and security logs from our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps). These are used for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability — not for advertising.

We do not currently use:

  • Third-party advertising cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Marketing analytics tools (such as Google Analytics)

We may introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future. If we do, we will ask for your consent through a cookie banner before placing any non-essential tracking cookies on your device, and we will update this policy accordingly.

Payment information

Orders are paid via UPI through WhatsApp. We do not store your full UPI ID, bank account number, or payment credentials on this website. Payment details are exchanged directly between you and us via WhatsApp/UPI outside this site's database.

We may store payment status (pending or paid) and order totals to fulfil your order.

8. WhatsApp and off-site communication

After placing an order or submitting an enquiry, we may contact you on WhatsApp or by phone. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy and terms. We recommend reviewing those separately.

Please do not send sensitive payment credentials beyond what is needed for UPI payment confirmation.


9. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.


10. Third-party links
