Shipping and Returns

We ship Jaivakam products across India from our farm in Kerala. This page explains how delivery works, what to expect when your order arrives, and how we handle returns and refunds for our Ayurvedic herbs, organic produce, honey, spices, and natural personal care items.

Shipping

Where we deliver

We deliver to residential and commercial addresses across India wherever our courier partner can service your pincode. If your pincode is temporarily unserviceable, we will contact you on WhatsApp to discuss alternatives before dispatch.

How ordering and payment work

  1. Add items to your cart and complete checkout with your name, phone, address, and optional email.
  2. After placing your order, you will receive UPI payment instructions on WhatsApp.
  3. Your order is prepared for dispatch only after payment is confirmed.
  4. Tracking details are shared on your registered phone number once the shipment is handed to our courier partner.

Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays. Timelines are estimates — occasional delays due to weather, festivals, or courier disruptions are outside our control, but we will keep you informed via WhatsApp where possible.

Delivery fees

A delivery fee may apply to your order. The exact fee — and whether free delivery applies — is shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Final charges are always visible on your order summary.

Packaging

Every order leaves our farm in tamper-evident, food-grade packaging designed to protect perishable and natural products in transit. Honey, herbs, spices, and fresh produce are packed to minimise spillage, contamination, and exposure.

If your outer packaging looks damaged when it arrives, please take photos before opening and contact us within 48 hours (see Returns below).

Tracking your order

Once dispatched, we share tracking information on the phone number you provided at checkout. If you do not receive tracking details within 3 business days of payment confirmation, message us on WhatsApp with your order details.

Delivery attempts and address accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address and phone number are correct at checkout. Our courier partner will attempt delivery to the address provided. If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, unreachable phone number, or repeated missed attempts, re-delivery or return-to-sender costs may apply and could delay your order.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information submitted at checkout.


Returns

General policy

Jaivakam products — including honey, fresh herbs, organic produce, spices, and personal care items — are natural and often perishable. For food safety and quality reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been dispatched.

We also cannot accept returns for:

  • Change of mind or ordering the wrong item by mistake
  • Products that have been opened, used, or stored improperly after delivery
  • Normal variation in colour, size, or shape of natural produce and handmade items
  • Minor cosmetic differences from product photographs

Eligible on-arrival issues

If you discover a problem on arrival and before you use the product, we may accept a return only in these cases:

  • The outer package arrived damaged or tampered with
  • You received the wrong product or a missing item from your order
  • The product was defective or unfit for use on arrival (e.g. leakage, spoilage, broken seal)

You must raise a return request within 48 hours of delivery.

How to request a return

Contact us on WhatsApp (or via the contact details in our site footer) with:

  1. Your order number or the phone number used at checkout
  2. A brief description of the issue
  3. Clear photos showing the outer packaging, shipping label, and the product concern
  4. For wrong or missing items, a photo of everything received in the shipment

Do not discard the product or packaging until we confirm next steps. We may arrange a pickup through our courier partner for inspection.

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Approved returns are inspected on receipt before a refund is issued.


Refunds

When refunds apply

Full refunds are issued only for approved returns under the eligible on-arrival cases above. We do not offer partial refunds for subjective dissatisfaction with natural product appearance or taste.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are sent via UPI to the same account used for your original payment. Refunds are typically initiated within 7 business days of our inspection of the returned item and usually reflect in your account within 5–7 business days thereafter, depending on your bank or UPI provider.

If a refund is delayed beyond this window, contact us on WhatsApp with your order details and we will follow up.


Product care after delivery

To get the best from your order:

  • Honey and oils: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Fresh herbs and produce: Refrigerate promptly and use within the recommended period on the product label
  • Personal care items: Keep sealed until use; store as directed on the label

Improper storage after delivery may affect product quality and is not covered under our return policy.
